3 Fun Bridal Games To Spice Up Your Wedding Shower
By michael gentleman
There are many fun bridal games to play at your bridal shower, but it can take a long time to research them and make a decision, and sometimes the titles and descriptions are tricky to figure out. Here are three of my favorites from the showers I have attended recently: Bridal Memory, Bridal Bingo, and Couple History.
1. Bridal Memory
For this game, you will need to think of things that guests might not notice about the bride’’s appearance during the shower, but can turn into trick questions. Make a list of questions and print enough copies of the list for each guest to have one, and have the bride leave the room quietly enough that no one notices before the game begins. Need some examples of questions?
For instance, What kind of shoes was the bride wearing? (This can trick people if the weather is warm and most people are wearing sandals but she is actually wearing stylized sneakers.)
* Was she wearing any jewelry other than her ring, if so, what? (You might assume she had on a traditional strand of pearls or diamond stud earrings, but really she isn”t wearing any at all!)
*What color shirt was she wearing? No matter how simple the questions, you will be surprised how quickly people have forgotten the details of the bride’’s appearance! After everyone is done answering the questions, have her come back into the room, and whoever has answered the most questions correctly wins!
2. Bridal Bingo
This is a lot of fun if you take the time to personalize traditional bingo for the couple! Instead of B I N G O, use the couples names, their wedding theme colors, the name of the church, etc. Instead of numbers and markers, use pictures with matching stickers of traditional wedding items such as rings, flowers, gifts, champagne, etc. So when calling out a Bingo hit, it might sound like Joann, Wedding rings or Andy, Cake!
3. Couple History Jeopardy
This game is carried on like traditional jeopardy, but the questions and categories are about centered on the couple and their history…. separately and as a couple. Use a poster board to write out the categories and index cards for the Host to read questions from. It will be a blast!
Try these fun games to turn a dull wedding shower into one that everyone will remember. The couple will thank you for your efforts
