Virgo in astrology is the zodiac sign which falls on 23rd August and continues up to 23rd September. Virgo is the only zodiac sign which has a female as the representative. The representation of the female is depicted in different ways by different astrologers. Some describe the Virgo female as a girl who has the creative potentiality and his lovely but delicate. Others believe that she is an intelligent woman who is older who has a spinsterish and pedantic attitude. The later version is accepted by most of the people due to the characteristics of the Virgoans.
The common characteristics that are found in people who have Virgo as their zodiac sign confirms the description of the older woman as Virgoans are mostly precise, have a passion for cleanliness, are conventional, fond of keeping everything in order and maintaining hygiene, they are refined and have an attitude that portrays aristocratic reserve. The other characteristics that can be observed are shrewdness, observant, judicious which makes them the strong supporters of following the status quo; they are also critically inclined and are conservative in their thinking.

So Virgoans are not compatible with those zodiac signs which have the tendency of showing extreme passion while lovemaking.
They like to do that work in which they have to use their intellect and so they always want an original problem that can be solved.
